Default bugs and grass in helmet?

This may be a dumb question, but am I the only person that has a problem with bugs, grass, and anything else flying up underneath the front of my helmet and going directly into MY EYES? I have a Joe Rocket RKT (HJC Helmet). I noticed another helmet at the dealership that has a cloth piece that goes under your chin. Think it was an Icon helmet. Think it works? Just wanted to see if anyone else finds this as annoying as I do, especially on two lane roads, going around a corner and not being able to see......

I have an icon helmet and i love it! Its the domain 2.. pretty expensive but its very comfortable, fog free, and many vents. The padding is removable and can be changed out with other styles of pads. I love the cloth piece on the bottom of the helmet.. Yes it does work. It also keeps your chin nice and warm when its a little bit chilly out!

I've never had problem with bugs etc. besides wiping them off the helmet with a glass cleaner.

I forgot to mention i had a hjc helmet.. a cheaper one. It really sucked lol, I had problems with the vents letting too much air in and drying out my eyes and dust and crap entering. I'd be on the highway and could only last half hour or so, that is my main reason for getting my new one mostly

I have an Icon helmet...it has a chin thing...I still get crap fly up inside my helmet but not as often as I did when I wore my HJC helmet...so I would say it helps a little bit.

Scorpion has an Aero Skirt which blocks wind from traveling upwird into the helmet. Works great although you can minimize some of this due to head position when riding.
