Anybody know a company that sells tall riding pants?
 

Now when I say tall, I mean it! When riding I like to wear 40" inseam jeans so they don't hike up too much. I own only one pair of them though because Wrangler is the only company that believes people my size actually exist and spend their hard earned dollars on clothes. At that, they are notoriously hard to find (especially at a decent price) I figure that with boots on I could get away with riding pants with a 38" inseam. The longest I've been able to find are 36" and that is just too short unless I want to wear cop motorcycle boots.
I'm not made of money either so custom 'one-off' gear is not going to be an option. I was thinking of buying a set of 34 or 36 length pants and having a local leather shop sew in extra panels at the thigh and calf. Anybody else out there ever try this?
If any other industry ignored a section of society they would probably get sued under the ADA but having long legs is considered a good thing and not a disability. You "average" sized folks out there don't know how good you have it!

well how tall are you? im about 6'6"...and they say about two off of your normal jean length is fine because it is inside your boots......Im having slightly the same problem finding some..ive been looking at the teknik chicanes but once i get to about a 32 or 33 inseam its like a 40 waist...and wear a 34 waist...but if you go to newenough.com they have a tall selection but the only real race pants are a stars and are kind of pricey..but check it out

if your 6 foot anything the chicanes will be to short. i am 5'8" and have the opposite problem everything i buy is to long. i just got a pair of the one piece leathers. they fit me good in the arms and are only a inch long in the legs. which goes in the boot anyway. i have a 29-30" inseam, and bought the 52 suit. a riding buddy also just got one he is 6 foot and had issues with sleeve and legs being to short. also can not stand up with out it pulling at the crotch.
