Default My 90 1000

I picked this up last weekend and went for my first ride sunday. 90 miles (10 of it in the rain)
The bike runs great and handles better (my last bike was a 89 kawasaki 454 LTD.. this is a HUGE difference. LOL

High mileage 68k I beleive.
I got her from a like 60 year old guy who took it back and forth from st louis to chicago on business trips and then rode it to the office locally.
Some idiots were going through his neighborhood a couple of years ago and smashed it with a baseball bat and busted out the headlight and the lights above the guage cluster and put a dent on the gas tank.
The insurance totaled it out and gave him 4500 bucks and he went and bought a new one and let this one sit since.
I picked it up and brought it home and got it all cleaned up and put back together and running and now I just need to figure out a headlight lense to get it inspected and be riding it back and forth to work.

Thanks for the compliment... I really do love this color scheme. Happy to have it.

Heres my headlight dilemma.. it works but I need to get it covered or it wont pass inspection.. thinking of trying to use plexiglass or something until I can find a new one just so I can ride it legally.

It also has hard saddle bags that arent on in the pic. I was considering taking the bracket off but thought they would actually come in handy if I travel on it any time so I think I may leave the bracket so I have that option.. it doesnt look THAT bad.
