Xentec HID kit

So I finally decided to try out these HID kits off ebay. They were about $35.99 shipped so I figured even if they last only a few months, It wouldn't matter since it's so cheap. Bought the 5000k since I wanted the most visibility and they didnt have 4300k in stock. After installing them they look white when you look at them in the headlight housing but the light they put out is blue. So I ordered a pair of 4300k replacement bulbs off ebay and it has the same results. When you look at them lit up in the housing it looks white but the light on the ground is blue. Does anybody know why? Is it because they are complete crap? The beam pattern is actually good and not scattered everywhere. I let my bro install the other ballast on his 600rr and it has the same results. The light that it puts out looks like 8000k but it has no blue when you look at it when it's on. I'm seriously thinking about putting my halogens back on.

Overall, The Xentec kit is cheap but works ok but I think the philips motovision halogen bulbs I had in there were much brighter.

I installed the Xentec kit on my F4i a year ago - same problem with you in that the light was just too blue (I HATED it). Had to replace the globe with an expensive 4300K supposed anti-glare globe (basically had the bottom of the globe blacked out to prevent stray light from reflecting off the bottom of the headlamp reflector) - the light is a lot whiter now (and brighter) but at a cost. I suspect a lot of the cheaper globes on the market are not very accurate when it comes to producing the correct colour.

They are still much brighter than my previous Halogens (I'm using the Philips Motovision in my high beam now).

I don't understand what the globe is. Can you show me a picture? You basically bought a more expensive hid bulb to replace?
