RE: Spidi leather????

Just picked up a pair of UVEX boots and they're great for the price I got them here in Germany for. I did try on the Spidi boots as well and they were outstanding - definitely better but at least 3 times as much. The best ones on the market have a protection strip that doesn't allow the boot to bend in half sideways which is the best protection ever so I'll consider them at a later date. The UVEX's are doing well.

One thing about riding boots here in Europe vs the US. Most of manufacturers do not make them larger than 46 Euro spec vs that stateside versions, so that means if you have a 11.5 or 12 foot a 47 is necessary!!! Just a thought since I just went thru this fiasco here... Guess I'll have to buy the Ap Stars or Spidi's in the states...

I have a spidi textile/mesh jacket with carbon reinforcements, I picked it up second hand as a summer jacket. It works well, but for the price of a new one, the quality is no better than my Joe Rocket.

for 150 it must be horrible...based on price alone right? hahah...
no mang, they good stuff.
make sure it fits right or all the good stuff mean nothing. nice and snug like my retainers and headgear in high school where i could pay tons of moneys and still get no love.

RE: Spidi leather????

This jacket fits me like a glove!! The jacket has only been worn for like a dozen times. It si basically brand new!!! There are absolutely no imperfections what so ever. My roomate is just selling it because he has a Harley and he wants one of those gay official harley jackets. It has armor in the shoulders, and elbows/forearms. It doesn't have a back protector though. They are only 20 bux brand new online. It is all black with the exception os 2 thin red stripes that go down each sleeve. This jacket is absolutely perfect and I know that I got a HELL of a deal, so I was just wondering what other people thought of the brand. Thanks for all the replies.

don't get the 'padding' back protector. go with the hard ones. much more costly but actually helps much more!

I have a Spidi NRG jacket and I give it five stars, the only thing I did't like about it was the protection (too hard=dangerous/my opinion)
I swapped everything with the T-pro Type-B Limbs and added the T-pro Forcefield Back Protector and it fits great underneath it. I do feel
very protected that way.
