R&G Crash Kit & Case Sliders
 

-Why you decided to purchase the product -
I needed protection for the CBR just in case I ever crash *knock on wood*. I did my research and some of the most praised protection include woodcraft, motovation, and r&g. I wanted no cuts and it has been said that r&g was the best.

-Did the product meet your expectations? How/Why?
The products are quality. They look great and seem to offer great protection. Only a crash will tell how well these will hold up, but I am not willing to test that out for you guys, lol. I did drop my bike when I first started in the driveway, the sliders prevented any damage to the fairings. I know they are frame sliders, but its nice to have a secondary function of fairing protectors. The installation was a breeze, but they do not include torque specs. I did sell the front fork sliders however, since I did not like how they looked, but they did seem like quality.


-Would you recommend the product to others?
I recommend this to others without a doubt. They are a little expensive and no-cuts are cheaper, but this was the option I liked. R&G has great stuff and priced really well. I might get their case savers in the future since they are suppose to work with their crash kit, wish I bought it with them, but oh well. Like I said, these are good stuff.


-Would you buy it again?
I would buy again easily. Not sure if I would get the crash kit since it comes with the fork sliders which I do not like how they look. I kind of want rizoma bar ends after the fact, but these bar ends still look great.

Offset cotton reel spools, you have to remove the chain adjuster to put them in, but I love how they look and there is no risk of damaging the frame that might happen with standard swing arm spools:
