I saw a post on here somewhere that was talking aboutt he quality of helmets, I rock an HJC now but I want to get an Arai Astral or Shoei X-11. Which is the best Are these the best and if so why is it the best?

 

I have a X-11 BYRNE TC-3 and i like mine alot! I live in VEGAS and my big thing was the heat and this helmet has enough vents that it really no big deal. I like SHOEI its a really good helmet!

 

I have an 05' X-11 Bostrom replica just got it brand new. Arai is the best, but could cost you a cool $1000 for a comperable to mine. Not only that you can't order them online anymore because they changed their policy about fitting. So you've got to go to the dealer and pay tax... I hope that helps.

 

I recommend going to a cycle dealer and trying on any helmet you can and find the one that fits you the best. Every head is different and what fits one person nice, might be wrong for the next person. Try them on and find what feels good for you, I personally have a Shoei head, but I've been wearing Shoei helmets since 1984.
