Default LSL Frame Sliders PICTURES

http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/FrameSliders.cfm

Just wondering if anyone has used these frame sliders or not. They're a little pricey compared to some other brands but one of my buddies has them on his ZZR 1200 and they look pretty bad *** (I don't mind the large mushroom looking end piece, doesn't matter what you haters think ). So I figured I would give them a try...

Called Spiegler this morning and they're shipping them this afternoon. If all goes well I will have them installed before the 4th. I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as it's done.

Any comments?

OK so I installed them last night. Cutting the plastic made me very nervous but it turned out alright. The left side is a little off-center, but fit nonetheless.

Couple comments: To remove the plastics now I have to first remove the sliders. Don't like that too much but oh well. Secondly, the aluminum "pucks" get HOT AS HELL after riding for only 20 minutes! When I got home after a short ride, I was polishing the bike and touched the slider - WHOA BABY!!!! Be careful. I still like them though... a different look than the typical slider.

Oh and I figured since I had all the plastic off, why not throw some mesh on there too! I just hope that hot glue works well enough.
