Anyone have Pirelli Diablo Strada Tires?

Just bought a set of Pirelli Diablo Strada Tires and they're gonna arrive today. Anyone have these? How do you like them? How many miles do they last (for hard riding and some stunting)?

RE: Anyone have Pirelli Diablo Strada Tires?

I put a set on this summer I olny have about 3K on them but I like them and they look to be OK with the tred left. they warm up quick and a sticky. I like them better then the Pilot powers.
I think they would do good for stunting but I do not know how much I would burn out on them, kind of expencive for that but what the hell.

Running Stradas on the FZ1 and lovin' it!

Plenty of grip when warm, seems to be getting good mileage so far (about 5k of relatively hard riding), confidence inspiring, however, I did find them to bit a little on the hard side. My advice-->be patient and let the temps build up before screwing around.

I doubt you'll be disappointed...but if you are (and you don't spank 'em)PM me and I'll gladly buy them from you.

Got about 6500 on them and now I see the cables on them. I did a lot of wheelies on them but never a burn out. They stuck good.

The Pirelli Diablo Strada is the least expensive economy sport touring tire they make.
It isn't really designed for sportbikes or anything other than commuting with longevity being the main concern.

I'd highly recommend stepping up to at least the Pirelli Diablo SuperSport.

I am ready to order new tires in the next two or three weeks and I couldn't decide if I wanted to run the Pirelli Diablo SuperSport or the Pirelli Diablo Rosso
I called Pirelli USA yesterday to see what their suggestion was for my 1996 CBR 600 F3 and they said they wouldn't recommend running the Pirelli Diablo SuperSport and I should definately never use the Pirelli Diablo Strada on my bike again.

I currently have the Pirelli Diablo Strada on my F3 and they are wore out. They were on it when I bought it late last fall.
This time I am going with a pair of the new 120/160 60ZR-17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso.
Should be a night and day difference, hopefully I'll get them ordered in the next three weeks!

Maybe the pic is bad but that tire is squared off. Do you even need you kickstand? j/k

Yeah the previous owner put 10,500 cruising miles on it.
He was an older fellow that just liked the style of the bike and used it as a cruiser.
It shows because the bike it very, very nice. Although it looks a lot better now with the 1997 tail section I put on it.

My Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires will be here next week.
I should notice a big improvement over the Strada, however only time will tell how long they will last and how good they will wear.
