rad cap

I have a CBR 125 Repsol 2005 and my Bike is starting to over heat I check the radiator it was empty so I check the expansion near hte back fo the bike and it was still full and it has not re filled the rad, I have checked the pipe from the exp to the rad and it is not blocked, I have tested the thermostat and that is working ok now the only thing that it can be is the radiator cap now I brought this bike 2nd hand and I am wondering if the rad cap it currently has is the correct one for the bike, it has 108 written on the top, so can anyone tell me if it is the right cap?

Thanks.

Have you checked the rubber seal ?

chances are it's gone hard and compressed
so the coolant gets out because the seal
is not sustaining built up pressure as the
bike warms up.

here's your Reference Point for your bike

The rubber seal is ok nothing torn no holes or anything.

Well, must be weeping out at one of the hose clamps or a pin hole in a hose somewhere.

make sure the radiator has not gotten dinged or lost a seam at the top or bottom!

AG Racing is a good source over there .....some stuff on EBay UK too !

How long does it take to "boil" off ? after every ride or after a few days of riding ?

After a few days I know there is no leak so just answer the question have I got the right rad cap on my bike it is black with a red line with the number 108.
