hello people i know its not a cbr but its a honda. so there is this vtr 1000 and it wont shift into 5th gear or it doesnt work or something like that. so what i want to know is what could be the problem and some sort of estimate on repair costs thanks in advance

 

Sounds like maybe a bent shift fork. Motor would have to come out and the cases split. If a shop does it, it would be costly.
