Fairings, headlight assembly and other parts.

Me and my friend picked up a bit of a damaged CBR125R here in Australia for $500. It runs fine, the engine is smooth and it's done 19,000km. The previous rider crashed it, the damage isn't too major, but the left fairing was damaged and the headlight assembly + front fairing was damaged too.

To get it road legal again, I have to get the headlight assembly + front fairing as a minimum, the rest is just scuff marks and scratch damage here and there which I can fix up over time.

I've been looking around and it seems like there's not a lot of places on-line to get fairings and other parts for the 125. Why is this? It all seems to be for the 600 and 1000.

Just wondering if anyone knows a good place to get these parts, preferably not brand new.

It's a CBR125R 2008 model. Made in Thailand.

Thanks.

Well this is almost a year late, but I have a similar problem. The first place I looked was Ebay and Amazon to find a replacement fairing. It is unfortunate that the bike never made it to the USA as then there would be scads of bits to harvest from. I know the bike was exported to Australia, New Zealand, Canada (yeah!) and the the UK. Of course most plentiful parts coming from the UK although the prices themsleves are reasonable the shipping was incredibly high of $125. CDN for a part that was itself brand new $135. I guess all you can do is keep you fingers crossed and hopefully somebody will drop their bike closer by to you.
