cbr125r repsol carb version

Hi All
I bought a 7 year old cbr125r in germany form a dealer in braunschweig for my 17 year old lad
last year with only 4000 km on the clock
it had some errors
battery needed to be replaced
e clip on gear change shaft missing replaced by a starlock washer
dry chain
milky oil=> replaced and no water ingress
old oil in forks repalced with thicker oil
choke cable will not stay in on position without holding it

changed all that and it rides fine
just havent been able to figure out the choke cable locking
had to dismantle the calipers ar the pistons were sticking and the pads slightly binding( you need free running brakes when youi only have 10 hp!)
calipers are mounted to the holders dry( no lube on pins so needed to put in a lot of silicone grease to get them to float )

standard tyres are rubbish with a groove in the middle that seems to bind to the road but very little choice for alternatives in this size

good bike but let down by these silly faults
good ridign cbr paul
