Cbr125r 2011

Hi all I was riding home this morning the bike was running fine untill I stopped at a mini roundabout when I tried to pull away it was like I was reving and releasing the throttle constantly Evan thou I wasn't
the bike was bouncing along.
once the revs got to 6-7k it seemed to be ok then after each gear change it done it again
sorry this isn't a clear explaintion I'm new to bikes.
also when idle it is now at 1k instead of 2k and cuts out when I try to rev it
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at your IACV (idle air control valve) , make sure its clean and connections are tight , I'm assuming you have FI and not carb, also have you got any fault codes , (maybe not with this fault)

I messed up big time didn't check the oil and have been told I have most likely ruined my engine going to put it in the garage think this is out of my depth now thanks for the reply

I would still check your oil level just to make sure its what they said

Oil was completely empty glad I learned this lesson on a 125 and not something more expensive
