Hey all,

I have a CBR 400 NC29 thats just been rebuilt because of sheared exhaust studs.

Got it all back together 3 days ago, started, ran pretty rough as the exhaust wasn't sealed properly. Got new exhaust gaskets, new oil and put it all back together today. Going to start it, it was just spinning and spinning and not firing. I took the plugs out and checked for spark - nothing. Bearing in mind, the battery is starting to get low on power, (Spins about 40% as fast as when fully charged)

I put the battery on charge (Only have a slow charger) and have been checking power, I have power from ignition, and have power to the coils. but no spark past the coils. It was running 2 days ago and hasn't had any wiring touched or changed. Could lack of charge in the battery be whats stopping spark? or could it be something more sinister? Trying to put as much detail as possible so its easier for you guys to work out, if you can! Checked all fuses, earth etc. Absolutely baffled how just replacing exhaust gaskets could stop it working. Also - there is petrol getting to the carbs but im not convinced there is petrol getting to the bore, the plugs weren't wet and didn't smell of petrol, but the inlet manifolds from the carbs to the bore had petrol in

Any suggestions/help appreciated!

Also - plugs and battery are brand new, less than 150 miles on them!
