I’m just wondering the sump plug bolt washer I noticed is made up of two different materials one is a different colour than the other and I’m guessing a lot softer? A little research revealed apparently the Soft part of the washer Compresses is that right? I’m just wondering if anyone knows which side the softer Part goes on the sump side or the bolt side or does it make no difference ?

Hi Marty, if you have 2 washers the softer washer would go in between the hard washer and sump

There is only one washer but I noticed it’s made up from two different Materials One side of the washer looks like A different colour and possibly a softer material then the opposite side its the original sump washer from Honda I’m probably overthinking things but I just want to be extra careful and put it the right way apparently it’s a crush washer iv heard ?

Oh hang on just reading back over your post cabaret so I’m guessing the soft side of the washer goes towards the sump
