Default Ring compressor

Not really a question, I just thought someone would find this mildly interesting.
I was putting new pistons in my Norton and foolishly tried to compress the rings with my fingers. I've done it before but even on a single it's hardly ideal and on a twin where both pistons go in together it's kinda stupid.
So, of course, I broke a ring and now I have to wait a week for the new set to arrive. The guy I buy my parts from is loaning me a pair of ring compressors. I decided further increase my odds of success by making this wooden deck that sits on top of the studs so I'm not holding the barrels with one hand and pushing pistons in with the other.

I was very pleased with how smart I was until I saw where others had thought of it first
