Couple of probs with an 03 sv650 . . .
Got one in the garage, working on it for a buddy. Any input your guys have is appreciated:
Problem 1: The top half of the tail light LEDs flicker constantly, whether the brake is applied or not. When the RPMs inrease, the light stabilizes. I'm suspecting the R\R or stator. Kindof weird, as the taillight doesn't have separate connectors for the top and bottom halves, just one brake\running\ground for the whole thing.
Problem 2 (related?): On rare occasion during a cold start, the bike will turn over, then cut the engine off less than 2 seconds later. Starting it again works fine. Warm starts are always OK.
