'09 daytona 675
lately I've been daydreaming about someday picking up a daytona 675. I absolutely love the sound and looks. The 675 with a good aftermarket exhaust sounds, and I kid you not, dead on the Porsche 917 driven by Steve McQueen in the movie LeMans, I've seen it like a 100 times and when I heard the bike in the link below it was an immediate reminder of the film....particularly when he talks off in the beginning

For a while simply the undertail exhaust and the aggressive lines on the honda had me sold, even tho the 636 had the undertail exhaust I never cared for how bloated it looked. I know it seems so "petty" to have the exhaust be a major deal breaker but to me I've always hated, despised, the big ugly exhaust can on the side like it was designed as an afterthought, Honda took it to the next level imo.
The honda, along with the triumph, look lean as hell...and with the triumph being less than 360 lbs dry..it's as lean as it actually looks. I also love the spar subframe over the traditional rectangle tubing found on most of the japanese bikes...it's kind of a nod to the Ducatis without the ducati maintenance lol. I'm not brand loyal by any means and with that I think whenever I get that goddamn engineering job I went to school for I'm going to get a 675 over a 600rr with the 600rr an extremely close second, maybe get it for my gf/future wife so I can have an excuse to have both lol.
Anyway, I'm thinking british racing green with gold wheels...that would look gorgeous...color matched subframe as well *drool* Sorry about the long post but I've been obsessing over this new Daytona for like a solid 2 weeks lol
Anyone else in love with a bike..dare I say, other than Honda?

I am very interested in the new Buell 1125R. 146 HP and a 10500 rpm red line out of a rotax engine. This thing sounds like a monster! Be careful about the trash you talk! They day may come that you get smoked by a buell!! Sats;
