Yet another battle scar...

That sucks, Mattson, and no matter what anyone says, you're gonna be upset with yourself, because the stuff we beat ourselves up about the MOST, are things where you're like "Damn-it, this just simply didn't NEED to happen!"
You know what I mean? The simple little slips that cause issues, are the ones that make us the maddest!

Thinking of swapping the cbr f2 for a VF 1000 F2 and cafe-ing it. The mileage has started to scare me a little, all the power is in the high register and quite frankly I fear redlining a 600cc engine that has over a 100k behind it. I was thinking of keeping it and tracking it but I fear it'll go kaboom at the first track day, bikes go for silly prices at spring time, gonna list it up for a cheeky overprice, if it goes for it it's meant to.
A litre V4 as an option does tickle.

It's the best option available at the moment, it's gonna be a few weeks probly until the parts ordered will arrive and I have the time to fix the lower fairing so if better ones don't appear it's that, and the seller is a bike shop so they are more responsible for fatal faults than a private seller so that gives me some piece of mind... Probly gonna drop the twin carbon cans out too, got 200 in them and might have later use for them as well...

The particular bike has disappeared from the list so it`s apparently sold. But a VF1000F2 is probably coming my way after I get the cbr sorted and sold. I`m planning bar end mirrors, single seat cafe tail, lose the whole front fairing, possibly round headlight or I might nick the dual projector from the Daytona, bullet gauges etc... I`ll see what my budget allows, probly gonna ride it "as is" for a while to determine it`s mechanically sound before splurging into modding parts.
