I've ridden in a blizzard coming down the Khardung La in the Himalayas, and through a snowfield on the way to Passo Del Stelvio in Northern Italy and I'm afraid I can't say that those two parts of each ride rank highest.

And I've just turned down an invite to ride Iceland next June. It may be lovely scenery and roads way up there but I can't see it being warm

Cheers, SB

You piqued my interest so I did and image search. Yes, there are some very attractive girls in Iceland.

But I think you missed the point

ICEland........

Iceland..........

Ice-land.......

Not Warmland, no.........., not Hotland, Nup!

It's the land where there is ICE

Look at the type of books written about riding motorcycles in Iceland

Iceland: A Stormy Motorcycle Adventure By: Sherrie McCarthy - eBook - Kobo

And this video of Kawasaki riders freezing their t*ts off in Iceland

Adventure Tour Islândia

I rest my case (does look pretty though)

Cheers, SB

The real issue here is that Mrs SB would want to go with him.

So; if you eliminate the pretty girls as a point of interest, you're only left with the ICE.

That is not a good reason to go traipsing to the other side of the world.

If I want to get up close and personal with ice, I'll just have a quick look in my deep freezer thank you very much.

They seem to be quite high bars. Do you fit MX bars for the winter?

Gotta be honest, I'd be up for a go at that.

Today when I was driving home from work I saw this really strange radiation phenomenon I haven`t seen for a very, very long time.

THE SUN!

Just had to stop on three places to snap some pics.

...there`s just one teeny little drawback... Guess what inevitably happens here in the winter when the air suddenly clears up:

brrr.....
