Default yay!

So I was out riding today and I noticed something... I'm leaning the bike way more than I used to... actually (and I know it's not a good indication of riding ability, but admit it... it does make you feel better) my chicken strips have gone from over an inch (last year when I started riding) to an average of around 1/4", and about 1/8" in some spots... I'm also not as nervous when I come up to turns

So let's hear it for developing skills at your own pace

Don't you love getting better! Seems like everytime you go out, you gain just a little more ability in your execution. Good job, bro! Just don't be dragging a knee in dangerous areas. I'll bet you would love a track day. Maybe some day I will get one in. I have heard it is addicting, though...

Absolutely. In fact, my chicken strips are so big...well, this pic might help illustrate their size...

I did the same damn thing a few months ago...that's a real quick way to learn about foot position on a turn.

haven't scraped my foot in a turn yet, but that's probably because I have my toes on the footpegs 99% of the time anyway.

Anyway, before hopping on the f4i last August, I'd never been on two wheels with a motor (or a quad, for that matter)... and to make matters worse, I'd never operated a manual transmission... it took me over an hour just to get the hang of using the clutch lol.

Anyway, I couldn't find any pics of the strips from last summer (all the pics of the bike were razr v3 quality, so you can't make out the strips), but I found a pic from May 9th... this shows you how fast I've been progressing in the last month or so:

This past May (last summer the strips were a lot bigger):

And earlier today:

Size: 26.1 KB

Just a little bit of a difference [8D]

And I need to get a new rear... the flat spot is making me nervous lol... but I guess that's what happens when you commute with a bike, right?
