Cuase the cpu and gpu soldering cracking is the most common problem and they know all units will eventually have that problem so they just went with that one.


Just like anything, if there's enough of the same problem a recall or fix will be done.



Also when you send yours off to get fix you usually dont get "yours" back. Just the next one in line to go out.

 

Hardware problem. Only thing to do is send it in. Something fried and they dont sell 360 parts to consumers.

 

just get a ps3.. the online is free.. i have had mine over a yr and no problems whatsoever..

plus you get a blu-ray player and thats cool right?

The PS3 are starting to have Laser problems.

 

first i have heard of it.

 

i typed in ps3 and laser problem... all that came up was stuff about how they cant make the ps3 fast enough because of a shortage in blue laser diodes.

nothing regarding problems..

as far as PS3 laser problems, do a search for PS3 not reading discs.....thats what rangerscott is talking about

I still have the Orig Playstation...and it still works! they make **** so cheap now and charge an arm and a leg for it[:'(]

 

The only reason I didn't do a PS3 was the price. The lowest unit wasn't even backwards compatible.

 

ya i would like one especially for gran turismo, but i dont have that kinda dough..100 bucks is hard enough to cough up to those douchebags right now
