just bundle up, take'er easy and make a pit-stop in between for some hot chocolate. it will help out ALOT! but seriously be sure to dress for the weather you're facing. i find that if i begin to get cold in one single area.....lets saaaaaay, my neck......its seems to creep down my whole arm, then my wrists, so on and so on. once you get chilly in one area it seems to spread.

I will have to say...

While I've ridden on almost every type of tire made, I started this year on a set of Pilot Powers. I can't say enough good things about them. 10 minute warm-ups and you can lean all day long (mind you it hasn't even gotten "warm" here yet).

The only drawback is they do wear quicker - but when I can buy take offs with 80% tread for $100 a set, I'm going to be doing that all summer. Michelins all the way...

Sorry - just thought of that as someone mentioned taking it easy (always good advice though!).

Hey Okie.... what are you doing with you're bike again? .. I knew you just sold your factory plastics so whats on it now?

 

30 minutes till frostbite...long time till death as parts of your body slowly die off, fingers, toes, nose, ears first...freezing to death can not be pleasant.

Sooooooooo lets just say i didnt have to stop on the way home. Im surprised none of us realized that the NOAA chart didnt account for adrenaline!

It felt sooooo good to get out there again and ride, i had my jeans/with hot chillys(moisture wicking long undies) my joe rocket textile with the liner in it. leather gloves, and my shoei.

and the only cold part about me was my fingertips.

sooo im home safe, finished cleaning her up taking pics (that im uploading as we speak and should be posting within the hr.) and put her up in storage untill the next warm day.

 

rizoma blah blah, new plastics, painted everything (exaust shield/side covers for exaust and tip cover) black, also powdercoated the subframe, passenger peg arms, and rear sets.
