Default Windows Vista 32bit and RAM

I was wondering how much RAM Windows Vista 32 bit version can run. I'm currently running 2gig, but my motherboard can support 8gig. I think I read somewhere that Vista 32bit can't even run on 4gig.
Anyone know for sure what's up with this? Was thinking about buying some more memory, but I don't want to waste my cheese. thanks!

IIRC 32 bit wont see more than 2 GB. Tho servers can have anywhere in the neighbor of 32GB. But to see 8GB you will need a 64bit OS far as winbloze goes anyhow.

Keep in mind that if you do get vista 64bit, make sure your vista installer disk includes Service Pack 1, or you'll have to put in 3gb or less, install sp1, then reinsert it, or it will BSOD FOREVER!!!!
Well, not forever... but until you take the ram out.
