Stick a pipe through the forks and rest it on jackstands |

RE: This is why you dont use Jack Stands
no, no damage, and yea i had a friend rush over and help me, cause i tried but couldnt lift the front and position the jack stands. if you look, i didnt have spools in the rear, and i was just using the flat adaptor for the rear, so i was afraid to mess with it too much and have the rear slide out too... i immediately put the tire back on (just got back from getting them mounted)...everything worked out fine.

RE: This is why you dont use Jack Stands
Oh man, that sucks!
Oh, btw, I still have the adapter pin for the front stand..............just kidding :Dbut that does suck pretty bad. See, Leveltwo asked if he could use my front stand. I would have let him borrow it, but I sold the pin and the adapter sleeve for it a long time ago when the bike got wrecked. It's a pitbull stand that lifts from the bottom of the steering stem. The 1000RR pin is completely different. |
