So i went to a car and bike show today at the local drag strip. It was really fun and i got to see a 16 year old kid almost throw a nissan GTR into a wall. YES 16! His dad had a silver GTR as well. Talk about money right?



The highlight of the day was watching the GTR run a 9.5 and then a civic run a 9.4.

Anyways that was the good. I got to run my bike 5 times and managed 11.4. Slower than last summer but it was about 50 degrees today. Anyways this squid on a 750 asks me to run so im all for it. I dont care about winning i just like to go fast legally. Anyways he won and then we returned to the staging lane. After my 3rd run he came up to me and started asking why im not running under 11? Umm first off your not even running under 11 and i said my fastest stock time was 11.2. He then said i should let him try it to see what it can do. I tell him no and he said well you need someone with experience to see what your bike can do. I told him ive been out here about 5 times and made about 30 passes. He was like oh well this is my second time and this will be my 4th pass.(haha so much for drag experience)

As he was saying that he started playing with my throttle(my bike was off) and i looked at him and he was just staring at the throttle. Right before i say hey can you not play with that he started to rotate my mirror! I was like are you F***ing serious? I tell him to not touch my bike and he said he hadnt hurt anything and to relax. I told him if he didnt walk away i would drag him by his helmet strap around the track. He then left.


A bit later as we left the place it was me and a friend riding home together and a busa and a ZX10R come and fly by us. Thats fine cause im not looking to race or even try to race plus we have our ladys on the back. Once they get about a mile in front of us they start slowing down. We are maintaing about 75mph and these guys are doing about 50 know. So we go around them only to have them pass us again. Then the busa(whos idea of modding is taking his exhaust off) slows down and gets right next to me and rev. I wave and keep going. Then he slows down and passes and repeats about 4 times. When he got next to me and stayed there after his lil passes i looked at him and did the jerk off motion he flips me off and leaves. Good i wont see him again. WRONG!

About 15 mins later we are in town and we pull right up behind those guys. The busa stalls out while sitting at a red light and the zx10 decided to burnout just sitting there followed by revving and looking at eachother. When the light turns green they cant just gun it cause of the car infront of them so they take off slow. However they kept their feet hanging off like they were racing for a good 1/4 miles? WTF is the point of that?

Anyways i just wanted to share my day with you and rant about a few idiots that make us all look bad. Sorry for the long read but maybe someone had time to kill. haha

 

I read it. Sexy sexy GTR's. Not so cool people. I always get kids my age trying to race me in my Integra. It's stock, (aka SLOW) so I just give them a wave and head on my way. Sounds like you just ran into a couple of throttle happy guys. There will always be those.

 

of course i have time to kill....mmm love those gtr's. ive got a good street racing story about one of those. Everybodys got at least one overpriveleged friend. I wish it was me haha. My friend does the local car show scene and some of those kids, or at least their parents, have ridiculous cars. Ford gt's, vipers, gtr's, one kid has a 1200hp 911, theres a 900hp cobra, its hard not to get jealous. ANother one his dad had some leicra or lykra or something roadster kit car that was all carbon fiber and i think made around 6-700hp. One night he let his friend drive it and he flipped it like 5 seconds after pulling out of some parking doing like 60-70 and died unfortunately. Ive got some random piece of cf that came off of the car in the crash.

I hate adhd retards like that that just touch everything and talk out of their ***. Theres a group of foreign kids that work at the gas station around the corner from me and everytime you pull up they start reaching in the car and touching stuff and asking you questions. We were in my buddies evo and they tried touching all his boost gauge buttons and wanted to sit in it and stuff. Its so annoying.

As for those other two special ed cases i think everytime ive seen someone on a busa theyre doing something stupid. I love them but hate the people riding them. Some people are just....different....as you put it. Sounds like a solid day though. Sure as hell beats mine

 

DAMN! If you are the dad are you mad you let your son drive your car? or he let his friend drive it? Or that your bada$$ car is totaled? Im sure it was a mix of all 3 though.

 

sounds like a full day. I dont understand why they would mess with you when you were two up... not cool man. they are prob just jealous

 

ok, well i guess ill rant a little too since i got time to kill. First issue...sounds like u ran into a couple of dueschers..now im guilty of messin around when i see a sweet vet or for instance the other day i saw a lotus...but i drive an escort, and dont get to see fast cars often, so when i do i try to get them to get on it a little bit...but after a few fun revs if they dont bite i simply give the devil horns tell em its sweet and move on..

then theres the a$$wipe story tellers....i had a guy sellin my buddy an 05 zx10r ask me whats the fastest ive been up to, i told him around 120ish, he goes pff...thats coasting for me..then proceeded to tell me a whopper about a 160mph wheely he pulled and crashed from....slid a quarter mile on his back...and got up and walked away wearing a riding jacket and blue jeans...yea sure

last but not least there's everybody and literally there younger sister that thinks cuz i ride a 600 im a panzy...my buddy that bought the zx10r has a sister thatd legit asked me why i didnt get a 1000 like her brother just did...this girls like twelve man....to all you dbag story tellers get bent..to all u 1000cc riders more power to you..i ride a 600rr and thats exactly what i want to ride...

 

one of those things. a lucra. yeah the back tires broke loose and he hit a pole or something then flipped. I dunno about mad but if it was me id definitely regret it and feel terrible. What can you do you cant really yell at your kid after that. He was allowed to drive it but id just be like why the hell would you let someone else get behind the wheel and do something stupid. Its a 2000 lb car. The kid was also in the car by the way but he didnt get hurt. Maybe a broken arm or soomething i forget. In the news story they blamed it on him racing but he wasnt i think he was just tryin to show off and lost control. But again it was 2 years ago i forget the details. My buddy was there though and watched it happen

 

Yeah im 100% more irritable when i have my lady on the back. I rode one day and our normal crew of 3 all had our girls on and this guy hopped in our group which was fine but as i went to go pass a car i looked back to make sure i was good and the guy came flying by doing well over 90 and was maybe 2-3 feet away. Everyone behind me saw it and when we stopped we all told him to watch his passing and leave. You cant do stupid crap like that in a group. I guess thats why i only ride with 3-4 people know. Last time i rode in a big group 15+ some guy was passing from the back and ran into another bike at about 70 and the both wrecked. After the wheelies/stoppies/revving/and more mohawks then a metal concert i decided that group wasnt for me.

Anyone else have a story? Ive got 5 more hours to kill and im sick of reading about libya.

yeah bad im sure were all guilty of doin that from time to time when we come up on a nice car on a nice stretch of road. Never get too wreckless but a little fun always brightens my day. We were driving from la to san diego over the summer and were next to 2 kids on bikes and they were bouncing it off the limiter under overpasses and stuff so i wanted to see if i could get them to wheelie. Gave the one kid the wheelie sign and he shook his head then got his buddys attention and pointed to us so i gave the sign agaiin and he stood up and ripped a 10-11clock wheelie at like 90mph. (it was a wide open straight highway)( no ones lives but his own were in danger)
