If I may add...you can always finish by saying "Good because I didn't want to hear any of your crap." Teenage kids are just as bad. I hate it when they leak air. Makes me want to put a patch kit on them.
Don't entertain it. If I get that and I ask "whats wrong" and she says "nothing". Then I take her word for it and assume there is nothing wrong.

I really have never put a partner through the whole "nothing" thing or any real long term sulking ... I kinda like things to be fixed or I stay feeling very unsettled, the most I might do is be a little forlorn looking and just expect my partner to hug me without asking whats up or trying to fix it. Sometimes thats all it takes to change my whole mood in a few seconds ..
