If the JB Blaster is the WD-40 like stuff, that really would not help you. Sure it is a lubricant, but it will not get into the threads.

The only way now is light heat of expand the cover and break the loctite.

Good luck tomorrow and let us know how it works out. Make sure you cover the gapping wound on your CBR overnight!

omg off...my day::::
1. wakes up and has a 2nd go at it, no luck
2. takes stator and battery and bolts and hops in roommate's car while he's sleeping
3. drop battery @ advanced auto, still there charging
4. run across street to tranny place
5. guy in back strugles to break bolts free for 10mins but manages to get both off...air guns
6. takes bolts out and drive around town looking for new bolts
7. 2hrs later i arive at the only ace hardwear in town (on the other side that is) and buy 4 new bolts
----tried home depot, lowes, advanced, autozone, napa (who told me ace has them)
8. came home and changed everything out and slapped back on bike
9. posted this thread

future:
10. walk 1 mile to advanced and 1 mile back with charged battery
11. put in bike, have a quick prayer, drive to work and hopefully make it there

Good Job!!!

I feel for you as when I first got my 93 F2, it stranded me all the time! Replacing the stator was one of the first things I got to do. I did not have experience working on sportbike engines at that time. 7 years later, I know ever inch of my bike and just finished a complete rebuild of the engine.

You did get a bum deal with the bolts locked in place. Normally, it is a very fast repair.

Hope your new stator works and you make it to work!!

well congrats on finally making it, i couldnt really help you out but i was pulling for you all night. whats the deal with NAPA, everyone seems to like them best. my dad is a wholesale mgr for the DC here and it seems not alot of people favor napa down here. always atuozone. i still stick with napa since i get **** at COST! just cool to hear peepz support them everywhere else.

everything bolted back on...minus fairings....started up like nothing, well took a second cuz no gas in lines

now the real test...see if it keeps the battery charged for me....cut it off cuz it began to sprinkle, but going to ride it around the complex and bring it back then HOPEFULLY, god willing, go to work on time
