Have had my own construction company since 02' and Im still learning. Much easier if your solo but if you hire employees you have alot to learn if you do it legit. Vacations for the first 2-3 years was not an option for me but if you set your mind to something it will pay in the end. You can't give up when it gets rough push through it and it will pay in the end....

Started my own freelance computer repair business this summer. Thought I would turn something I love into something I could make money off. It went pretty well, I just did some local work. Put up flyers and handed out business cards. Even designed my own website hosted off a home built server

thanks guys for the comments - I do have a degree in computer science and business so I have at least somewhat of a clue of what's going on. I'm actually very excited / enthusiastic about this - but I'm not gonna quit my dayjob... My dayjob right now is going great and I'm moving up very quickly in the company - but it's a big company now and I'm getting a little tired of all the stuff big companies make you deal with. I've decided I'm definitely going to go through with it, I already have 5 "employees" who are just as excited about it as I am, believe it or not it's a very unique idea and I think could really turn into something big.
