Who is a clever girl then??
I decided to have a look at my brake lever yesterday .. its been bent for ages from a car park spill and then it got even more bent when I dropped the bike on myself sometime ago ..so using an old trick I learned from my dad I set to straightening it in situ!! :-)
Here is the bent lever ...
Here is what I did ..I used an large plastic clamp and rammed it tight in between lever and grip ..then using this steel tube off a trolley jack I slipped it over the lever and gently eased it back ..it was so easy to do ... no strength at all required
Here is the result ...
I also used some wet/dry on exhaust scratches and touched up with black smoothrite ..its not perfect, but the scratches were low ...
.. as my dad used to say ...
A blind man on a galloping horse will never notice!! ..lol

Nice Jules! I wish I could do that to the handle on my Enduro, it's warped so bad that there's a big crack started just waiting for the lever to break in two. Paint work looks pretty nice too. Keep that mind occupied!
