very similar to just outta Melbourne here in Aus...(1hr) away.. lots of really neat roads wind through these types of hilly areas usually

I love the foothills type of areas . Peaceful , low traffic levels , nice roads
Victoria ( the state in Aus where I live ) Is full of this size hilly country.. we have huge tracks of this sort of country .. bloody nice
We have a few peeks that get snow, but only over the winter and olnly in one confined area of our state..
The rest is like your area mate ... dam nice country to ride in and generally hang out in I recon..
