Default Where to park my bike ?

I live in a city so no garage or anything to keep it from the rain. Will the weather affect my bike at all mechanically ? I clean it well and often with stuff i get from the honda shop, but i still worry the rains not good for it in the long term.

I'm going to look into a small storage unit, jsut big enough to park it in i think... there's a place a few miles down the road. Good idea ? Not worth the trouble ?

i leave my bike outside year round, never given me any problems. I park my car so i can use it to block my bike in try to discourage a lazy thief

Aight cool. If things wont rust or water won't get in the gauges or anything like that im ok with it setting out front. But if in a year or two its gonna cause me problems i'd rather get a storage unit... I ride everyday usually so keeping it here is ideal, but it would be impossible to get inside.

Just make sure you get a motorcycle cover to protect everything. Better safe than upset in the future. Just my .02cents. And yes make sure you block it from thiefs like Sproutf3 said. lol.

my bike stays out side all summer and then migrates south for the winter. but i chain it to a huge tree out front with a kryptonite steal cable and a giant master lock. then i throw a motorcycle cover over the top of the bike. pluse i have a scorpio motorcycle alarm with 2 way remote.

its says in fairly good condition the bad parts are its a bitch to keep the bike clean and second the nuts and bolts seem to oxodize pretty bad but everything else says nice and if you lube and clean your chain alot it says like new

bah! i think im gonna just get a storage unit. Solve all the problems... no theft, no rain. Bout the only thing i can chain it to would be my car or a stop sign...

plus i'll have a flat cement pad to work on with a storage unit ! something i don't have right now sounds like a plan
