Nope, cold won't hurt it. Salt or brine could if they use that in your area. If you get caught out after they've put it down, just wash the bike real good as soon as you can with lots and lots of clean, fresh water. If they've put that down, I wait for a good rain. Depending on the winter, you can get quite a bit of riding in during the winter around here. Cold doesn't bother me -- mainly because I have heated liners! lol
oh yeah... watch out for cold streets and cold tires. You can't lean as much when it's cold cuz the tires don't grip as well.

man, ive been driving the cage before in a heavy storm going like 15MPH on the highway, and as soon as i got off this guy rode by on an RR, i dont think he was planning on it raining cause it came out of nowhere (it really likes to change weather quick here) and he was just stuck. i was in shock cause there was like 3 inches of water out, i dont even like riding in drizzle, i get paranoid on turns.

Does this thread hurt.......no rain.....no snow.......just sunny skies...... nope i live in the UK and commute on my bike all year round...2 years ago we had some bad ice and it kept me off the bike for 3-4 days otherwise just riding through it.. The salted roads sure pound the hell out of the bikes finish though, thats why i haven't posted any pictures. i got told that they were all 18restricted

Never. The winter still has its days where it is reasonalbe. So don't put it away, when it snows just start the bike every week get it warmed up and then put it away. I rode all last winter and it had its days where I was caught in the rain and one time the snow. Just watch the weather and wear lots of under clothes it gets cold! Safe Riding!
