I just had to share this, I posted an add on craiglist looking for a cheap F.I. bike to built into a stunt bike... and here is a reply I got back

I have a 2003 gsxr 1000 it does run all it needs new rear brakes,
chain, windscreen,stator,front seals has short in the wires I say
it has about 12000 miles on it and is missing rear seat askin 3000
may go down or do some trading if interested I can send you some
pics it painted candy marble red right now


I mean Thats all it needs? and they want 3000 for it... sorry I
had to laugh at this. I'm guessing around 12000 means dash is shorted
and who knows real mileage

 

in another reply they sent me said the fairings where in bad shape also.


What do they think this thing is worth perfect 10,000? nada says (4,700) perfect (3,600) low ( which still means reliable running/riding with cosmetic problems )

got him to 2300.... it's getting reasonable... still working out the details though

Ha ha my bud thought his gixxer was the hottest thing on the street. Not so much now since his motor went out after 20k miles and mine is at 25k and runnin strong

Oh guys I went to look at it... yup its not worth even crap. it was in bad shape.... Found an F4i from a guy on the forum that I think I am gonna go with.
