What Are Your "Bike Mods" For The Winter

I bought a Bazzaz Z-Fi, Z-Bomb and Z-AFM fuel control system before Christmas. I need to remove the exhaust and take it somewhere to have an O2 sensor bung welded onto it for the auto-tune and then install all the Bazzaz stuff.

Also, I have a new set of Bridgestone BT-016 tires that I need to put on. I was hoping to wait until my OEM tires reached 10,000 miles before doing that but the bike is 'floating' in my nice, warm basement right now on its front and rear stands and it would be so easy to just go head and remove the wheels. I have around 800 miles to go before the 10,000 mile mark.

This will be my first full season with my F4i so I currently have her in pieces cleaning and replenishing all fluids. Cosmetic mods are as follows: new carbon fiber double bubble, carbon mirrors with turn signals, new integrated tail light to replace the half working one that was already on it, powder coat the rear sets and passenger pegs and new D3 grips. Everything is done except foe the powder coating which I'm dropping the pieces off today. My F4i is silver/black and pictures will be coming soon.

Integrated tail light and custom undertail (99% complete)
F4i cluster swap
Two Brothers exhaust (hopefully)

Other than that my winter money has been going towards new gear.

Only thing I am doing is new tires, and probably your average tune up, but chances are that wont classify as a "winter project" by the time i get that done.

Any idea the price difference between taking tires off and bringing them in to get changed or bringing your whole bike in?

When I got my rear changed they charged me $40 on the bike, and wanted $25 off the bike.

Places will be different though. A place that I know of wants to charge $100 per tire on the bike. It pays to call around.
