Well, "technically" mine is still a 900 so you aren't alone. As long as nobody gets too nosey and notices my engine is painted black and the "1137" on the rightside of motor LOL.

I've never ridden anything but a 600, so I chose that. However, I don't see myself changing out anytime soon, I'm a small, light guy and I like the weight of the 600.

I love my XX . . . it's my all-weather, 3-season daily driver and I'll ride it until internal combustion engines are outlawed. My gf was going to buy a Ducati Monster 696 but after riding the Bird she was addicted to big-bore torque and power right now in any gear at any rpm. She ended up getting a Speed Triple. If you so desire, Speedy's front wheel comes up in direct proportion to throttle rotation . . . no revving the crap out it, backing off and slamming it again, no clutching it up or other shenanigans. Just a twist of the wrist, even at 3000 rpm

There are 2 kinds of people .. . those who are addicted to big bore torque, and those unfortunate souls who have only ridden piddlers

I've never considered 600s "piddlers". Buddy of mine has a 600RR with 9" stretch and a lil spray running low 6.20s in 1/8. You should see the Busa's clear out of staging lanes when he pulls through, it's hilarious. Bikes are just like anything else, gotta use right tool for the job. I run 1/8 and that torque of XX motor was refreshing change from waiting for that RR motor to hit it's sweet spot.
I just like to ride. In between rounds or during downtime, you'll find me cruising the pits on my Yamaha QT50 moped.

I pretty much agree. I put 900 cuz thats what I have, and never have ridden a 1000 so... 600s are def more then enough power for the street though dont get me wrong, 250 just doesnt make the cut for me...
