sure, it's metal. A place that buys scrap metal may give you a buck for it.

Cast aluminum in most cases, not worth much as a raw material but certainly turn it in.

ya, it's aluminum. it won't be worth too much. it'd look cool as a wall ornament though... unless you really want to get rid of it (don't want to be reminded of your crash)

Might be cool to put a piece of glass on it and make a table out of it or make it into a hose reel or something.

It's bent in one place. but yeah I thought it was cool so i kept it. I will take the disks off and maybe put it somewhere. Or give it to homeless guy for their recycling.

Dangle some lengths of pipe or sugarcane from it and turn it into a wind-chime.

the rim itself is aluminum, but the center of it where the axle slides through, there is a steel insert.
if you do ever decide to recycle it, try to get that insert out, most places will give you less then its worth if they have to work to separate the metals.
