For me the worst job would be running a cash register any where. People are over-rated to begin with and in that situation they just plain suck. I go out of my way to be nice to people working registers because of the way I see them being treated.

 

Before I joined the Army, I worked wit my dad as a HVAC Tch in Suffolk, Va. We did new installations often, which usually required someone to go under the house to run the duct work. Well, these were mostly really old houses, without much clearance. So...guess who was doing most of the crawling? it sucked. It was always wet, mushy,pitch black, and filled with spider webs. I was always afraid of spiders and snakes, so that was my only concern while I was under. I would have to say......any job crawling under old houses.

 

HVAC Rules! New install commercial work is the only way to go.

 

haha i do HVAC work. i do replacements. it sucks major ding dong when you have to do crawl spaces that are mucky and mosquito filled. then theres always the pleasant 120+ deg. attic that you're in on a 95deg. day. or how about installing an outdoor unit in the winter w/ snow covered ground and numb toes and fingers! ooooooh, or when you get shocked by high voltage, or burnt from freeon.

oh, monday just isnt coming quick enough

im sure ebinz and doogstar know what im talking about lol.

 

it does get bad. I work in Shopping Malls climb 60-80ft ladders, & stand in the rain/wind trying to control an 20ton a/c unit coming down on a crane. lol Does get dirty, and there are some tight spots but I really enjoy it. I could live without the cuts & insulation down my shirt.
