I drive ..lol

Its brilliant and devious, yet so simple!! ;-)

Seriously though ... I have not managed to get out under my own steam in a long, long time, the bike was a FAIL ..lol ... so this drive
was a biggie for me ... no one with me, no one telling me what to do or where to go ... just me, the car and the open road,
oh and BBC Radio 2 were playing all the oldies ..total bliss!! :-)

Some of you should recognise the Horseshoe pass from when I take my bike down here ... it was a funny day, started off dull then got
bright and sunny for several hours before going dull again ...





Here is how steep that drop off from the roadside is ...



At the top of the pass is the Ponderosa cafe ..a favourite meeting and stopping point for bikers :-) ..they do great food and cheap as chips too!!




Then the sun came out ... doesnt everything look so much better in the sun!! :-)




Time to stop again for tea and scones beside the canal ..I just love it here :-)

Hey the canal water doesn't look like poo anymore!!!! Great pics from that sony phone of yours ;-) We have a Ponderosa chain out here in the states too...but it's a bit different, more of a family restaurant that most people go to for the all you can eat buffet

I am always behind the camera ... I also hate having my picture taken, but I have quite a few of me I send to friends rather than posting on the forum besides people are sick of seeing me ..lol

Thank you :-) ..since the loss of my camera I am just using the phone, its a Sony K800i 3.2 Mp with autofocus ..I do have to say if you are careful with it you can get decent shots for showing people :-)
