Default what do you guys think about these?

i saw these in some random video. Theyre kevlar reinforced jeans with some other high tech fancy polymers according to their fine marketing team and they were designed for extreme sport use like bmx and skateboarding and such. I like the design and style of them 345230945820 times more than all of the jeans i see on like revzilla and cyclegear and stuff that are meant for street riding. Theyll obviously be better than regular jeans but how do you guys think they compare to jeans on those sites i mentioned that are meant for riding? The kevlar covers the ankles and all down the back of the leg. Im really thinking about picking up a pair or two of these.

Don't know how these you've found compare to the others you mention. However, more protection is always better.

Kuro originated a thread some time ago where the discussion was on riding jeans protection & comparisons. You might want to search for that thread for feedback.

I have one somewhere as well! If you search my threads (there are a few. Lol) you should find it.

Not a bad alternative for a quicky jaunt around town but keep in mind, one rash and they're disposable. Where as leather will just scuff. For long rides and expressway driving, I'll take leather, thank you. ;-)

I wear Shift riding jeans. Good price, look pretty good too

Its a general consensus and fact that kevlar jeans won't help you with the impact at all, and tend to rip on said impact.

With that said, they fair much better on a slide than regular jeans.
So if you aren't gonna wear full leathers its a much better alternative.

^yeah i doubt ill ever be wearing full leathers on my bike. Its obviously the best bet and the safest but i just think its so impractical to suit up in full gear every time you ride. Gloves, jacket, helmet will be the standard but these pants are obviously a better choice than the regular jeans i ride in so hey why not
