Seems like a no-brainer. Then again, there's plenty of Darwin award winners out there.

I have a mesh jacket for the hot days, perforated leather for the rest.

But it kind of depends where you live, as previously stated southern Texas is a LOT hotter than here in the UK, but mesh jacket and pants/jeans would be a minimum for me.

They're supposed to keep you cooler and at the very least you'll be able to get out of your leathers easier
