after 4 different bikes ive finally dropped my 1st one. tonight i was taking some new pixs in front of my house and i tried to make too tight of a turn up my drive way and got caught off gaurd and my beautiful 929 went down ! luckily only a lil bit of rash on the mirror and stator cover but its ok thank god for my frame sliders haha and also its funny to note that i dropped it while i wa son it with full gear ... lol .. yea i know but i got it back on 2 wheels rode it around made sure everything still worked and im good now. just wanted to share my 1st drop.

 

If you gotta crash it...then 3mph is the best way to go. Sorry to hear about the scratches...mine got scratches...I ain't fixing them.

 

I've done it once. Pulled into a gas station in a hurry jumped off the bike, forgot to put the kick stand down like a retard. I caught the bike with my leg just as the left mirror hit the ground. Just a few scratches on it. Felt like a moron with ten people looking at me as Istod it back up.

 

It happens. Five minutes after pickin' up my '05 from the Dealer, I need fuel. I hit the curb at a wrong angle and it a whole in the ground. At about 5MPH, the right side went down - hard. Cosmetic damages and a hair line fracture on my right shoulder.

Like I said, it happens!

 

Bummer! I droped mine the third day I had it (2mph). I cried likea little b!tch. I got a little more damage then you (stupid stock blinkers!). Good to hear your new bike is okay.

 

Sorry Havoc, glad to hear there is only minor damage. I don't know if you guysremember when my wife backed into me (while I was on the bike). Cost me about $1500...[:@]
