I just went through a car redux. I had a 2002 dodge quad cab, 9in suspenssion lift, 2in body with 44 tsl's, rancho and sky-jacker componants, warn winch front and rear, shaved door handles, limo tint, ohhhhhh that truck was a head turner, absolutly gorgeous, the other was a supercharged nissan x-terra 4x4. Yea, both of em got sh!tty gas milage, so I sold both of em, made enough to buy the wife a Nissan Murano, and put in a nice DVD player, GPS, fog lights, chrome runners, it all looks good on the black all waxed up and all, and I bought myself.........are you ready........a 1985 F-250 6.9L Deisel, single cab, long-box 4x4. That thing is a TANK! I got it from the original owner, it was garage kept and in great shape, hell, I saw trucks 10-15 years newer that were in half the shape this one was in so I got it. I ride my bike year-round. All I use the truck for is hunting and hauling, I put maybe 1,000 miles a year on it and thats only for hunting season. I grocery shop with my CBR, pick my kid up on it, run errands, pretty much everything. I only fill up my truck (both tanks) about three times a year. I used to be into hot-rods, last one was a 67 C-10. It was a step side short-box with a mark williams 4-link, strange axles, full locker with 5.88's ran a stroked bigblock, all aluminum upper with dual carters, aluminumtrick-flow heads, splayed mains and all, a built M-22 until I switched over to a T-10, and finally a 2spd power-glide with a trans-brake. It was tubbed, slammed and chaneled. I put power stearing in it and bell-tech drop spindles, 4wheel disk brakes....I could go on, but long story short, damn thing would break your neck off the line, passed everything but a gas station and it was a money pit. Things like that you gotta constantly throw money at, and I got tired of it, there was always something bigger and better to replace or improve and it got old.....and expensive.

 

MUSTANGS SUCK HUGE *****!!! you have no go faster mods minus 4.10 gears which just make u accelerate faster other then that its all cosmetic...well thats not true you have abinch of handeling mods..but that 4.6 is a weak motor with out alot of up grades..maybe maybe 280hp stock MAYBE! 2001 SS Lunati Cam BBK hurst short throw shifter throtle body slp whisper lid slp cold air FUNCTIONAL ram air hood slp long tube header to full borla exhaust with elec cut outs. tubular strut bar BMR sub frame connectors BMr control arm relocation brackets. pioneer premier deck with ipod controls fully integrated with stock steering wheel controls still useable! yelow top optima battery going to 2 guage wire to a alpine 1000w RMS mono block digital amp pushing 2 12" kicker cvx's in a custom camaro box (soon to be replaceed by a subthump custom box with ttop holder) 8 guage power line going to a 400w rms 4channel amp pushin 4 6 1/4 infinity componet speakers and 2 4 1/2 infinty componet speakers...soon too happen with second tax return...scoop and camaros are being painted red, black altezza tail lights black HID halo headlights with red ringblack billit black alluminum grill custom painted ontop snd bottom of each fin red.

 

I rip up the highways with my stock silver Ford Focus.
