Wax on Wax off

The previous owner of my F4i got some wax on the air duct cover and some on the frame and i cant get it off. Ive tried a commercial "plastic cleaner" and also peanut butter.
Anyone have another method?

not trying to be a smart a$$...have you tried using wax? I did this before and it worked.

I've used something called "Back to black" or "Black Magic" (I can't remember the name) that I got at an auto parts store. It took old wax marks right off the trim on my truck.

Degreaser and a brush. Scrub till it's gone.

Something to scrub a little with (sponge even works, doesn't have to be coarse) and armor-all. Works like a champ.
