Yeah, well in UT all the Mo-mo's are so close to going to heaven that the tires on their mini-vans are about three inches off the ground, and their heads are about three thousand feet into the clouds...so yeah, no road damage at all here, yep, just perfect--no deer roaming across six-lane highways, no after-the-fact installation of sewer pipes that leaves eighteen-inch canyon-like gutters criss-crossing every two-lane residential, no supermassive black holes opened by snow plows that consume everything--even light, nope, nothing like that at all. Let's see, UT spends the least per child on education in the US...hmmm, I guess that means if everyone is dumb enough, they won't notice the chronic disrepair of every single stretch of asphalt--but GD those churches on every street corner sure look nice and new...[:@]

The roads around here in central NY aren't bad, in fact many of them are pretty descent, even with plows and salt. The main contender are frost heaves and tar snakes. That's okay, the tire only slips the width of the tar snake.

I'm 10 minutes east of Syracuse, just off the 481 exit of the thruway.

That is the one thing about Texas roads, they will crack, but atleast they repair them. Go riding early in the morning, or that tar is gonna heat up, and yeah, you know what happens when the tar is warm.
