A very lazy day ...
 

The moment I got up it was raining ..and I mean absolutely persisting down!! ... it just hasnt stopped all day ... heavy rain and a dark grey sky, not quite the fairytale image today ..lol

I dont mind too much ..spent the whol.e day in my cottage on the sofa watching TV and reading books and magazines ..you simply cant beat a lazy day sometimes ..they last longer too dont they!! :-)

Anyone else enjoy these totally wasted lazy days??

My favourite kind of lazy day are grey ones in Southern California. Constant perfect weather gives way a bit in May and June when high clouds (no rain, really) move in and provide great contrast. Just a soft, subtle grey colour that helps define seasons in an otherwise repetitive climate. Love it.

I havent been to the zoo in simply ages ..we have Chester zoo here .. they have a great bat cave :-)

It was perfect here today in central PA. Low humidity, mid to upper 70's and crystal clear. Perfect summer weather... :) Sorry to hear about your weather Jules.

I suppose that's why it looks so green in your photographs. Summers are always a toss up here. The past few have nearly killed my lawn with the lack of rain. This year is a little better. We'll get our rain tomorrow. I hope so, I planted some stuff today and I hate watering it.

I havent had a lazy day for a long time cuz I work from Monday to Sunday to the bone. It doesnt help that I am studying after hours as well so I really need some nice R'n'R.

I'm only gonna see it in December when I take leave and after all my exams are done. Until then, "sigh".

Enjoy it while it lasts Jules, as much as you can...
