Urgent. 5 hour ride in the rain incoming.
 

Guys, I finally got the bike. But due to bad weather (heavy rain and it being late) I decided to stay nearby at a motel and take the bike home tomorrow. the bike is safely at the seller's home atm (not paid yet).

I have rode in the rain before. But it has been 2 years since I rode a 600cc, and this trip will be in rain and it will take me 5 hours. I've gone over safety techniques and reviewed what I learned in the past, but it would be really swell and uplifting to hear it from you guys. Been out of the riding game for a long time, I think it's better to be safe than sorry. Thank you so much, your words of advice are truly appreciated. I know a lot of the stuff is common sense, but it's just nice for me to hear from people.

My friend is coming in his car, and I will be riding.
