heybuddy1901, I should apologize. My title on this topic was bad and reads as everyone at UPS. My bad, that was not my intent. My aggravation was with the driver who did not follow the instructions and the customer service reps who act like, Oh well, we will work on it.

This not a good thing to have lost out in never never land. I actually talked to the driver out in NM and he was a real pud squeezer... He actually acted like he was being put out. Then when he found out that I was the shipper and not the recipient he hung up on me. I was nice and polite as 40 years of life has taught me that more things get solved this way, but he still acted in a shoddy manner. I had the box heavily insured, but the money is not the issue. A lost gun is and the crappy attitude of the driver and the oh well attitude of the reps makes all UPS employees look bad.

 

Ya, they'll pay for your lost package. Only takes a month to get the money.

 

dude i totally understand, drivers are either hella cool or just complete asses

and the customer service people are just part-timers that prob hate their job.. LOL


all i do is get up every morning at the crack of dawn and load trucks for delivery, and believe me, ive seen PLENTY of b/s
if you can, try and get as high up on the latter as you can (distrcit or area manager) and explain the situation and tell them who you talked to (driver, sales rep) cause thats a bunch of bull, either way ur a customer and shud be treated according, and if you want you can prob file a complaint against the driver

 

If you talk to the drivers at your work they're pretty cool. Had a fedex guy just love to talk to me when I was SIC. I barely even said two words to him and he just started carrying on a conversation with me every time he came. Cool guy and he'd ship **** for me for free.

 

The only problem I had with UPS is when I ordered the seat cowl for my 06 600RR, and it said "delivered" but it wasn't at my door. A quick call later and they said it was at the UPS warehouse downtown (about 10 minutes away). This was 11:30pm and I asked......because I'm impacient.........if I could come pick it up. They said no problem and so I did.

But other than that, not a single complaint. And they are MILES better than USPS......THOSE are the real f**ktards.

 

yeah i must admit i ship/recieve most my stuff USPS only because its dirt cheap and priority is usually prompt.

their tracking blows, er, nvm, its non-existant

and god forbid you have to sign for it, you go to get it at the post office and you wait in a line to park, wait in a line inside only to be told to go wait in the line at the other window since thats the one for pickups only even though there is no sign, then wait for another 10 mins as the clerk tries to find your package only to tell you that its not there, you cant threaten then cause they are government employees so you bite your tounge and go home, only to find another notice saying that it will now be at the post office for the next 5 days then they are sending it back.

i hate those f**ktards (no offense to any postal worker, just the ones that work around my area)
