So i got 2 buddys i ride with one has a zx9r and the other a 900RR and then thier is me with a f3 nothing wrong with it but we come up to a nice open road im left behind. So im debating on getting a 900 or so, i have riden thiers before and i feel comfortable on it i have 2 1/2 years under me. So my question is should i upgrade or stay on the 600 for awhile? Also i was on hondas web site and did not see a bike around the 900 like the 929 or 954 do they still make them? Trying to keep it under the liter bikes. Any other bikes i should look at? Want to stay with honda but if the price is right how can you say no.

 

If you feel comfortable then by all means do the upgrade...if you want a 929 then you will need to go back a few years, they did stop production on that bike....strictly 1000 now. But the older bike isn't in anyway a bad thing! Those bikes are SWEET and will give you more than enough power. I am sure you can find a used one for a decent price! That would be my suggestion.....let us know what you do.

 

dude i just went through this SAME delema . i found a 900RR for a good price but it needs new fairings. so im weghing back and forth to keep my f3 or sell it. so far i have decided just to keep my bike and wait and get a new bike later. but if cheap *** kids would stop low balling me for my bike you better believe i would be upgrading in a heart beat ! good luck and get your Blade !

 

yea man, maybe even a new 600, the f3 is just kind outdated, anything made before like 2001 or so youre probably missin out on alot

Robert, Bring your bike up to folsom highs auto swap meet on the weekends it's 40 bucks for a spot but it draws alot of people... if people saw it in person i don't think you will get lowballed too badly i highly suggest the 929 ( fuel injected) but people think those are all still worth hella so save some cash and just get a 900 and jet it

How about a 600RR is it still a little girls bike? JK.[sm=lildevil.gif] But i mean would it be worth it to upgrade to say a 600rr or just going for a 900 or so bike? Also is there a difference between say a 929 and 1000? I found a 1000 decently price just wondering what the differnce would be. Thx all

 

I've ridden 893 and 919 900RRs and I'm willing to put money on it that my 06 6RR will deffintly keep up with if not beata 900RR andin a straight line race. As far as handling the 900RR IMO is a sweet handling Honda, but it's a dated sweet handling Honda. The new 6RR has more technology packed into a lighter package and if you consider power to weight and everything else besides confort I think the 6RR is a better bike.
